Evan is a senior strategist specializing in digital marketing and communications programs for non-profits, with nearly two decades of experience using integrated campaign tactics to support organizational philanthropy and supporter activation goals. Evan is currently Head of Accounts at EveryAction, a unified constituent relationship management system powered by NGP VAN that gives cause-based organizations the tools they need to engage supporters by managing their online and offline fundraising, advocacy, email, and volunteers.
Previously Evan served as Principal with Freeflow Digital, a strategic technology firm focused on giving non-profits and institutions of higher education the best in digital strategy, CRM and donor management, data science, and data-driven web development.
He joined Freeflow from Brodeur Partners, where he served as Senior Vice President for digital and integrated communications campaigns. Previously, Evan led The Nature Conservancy’s online engagement practice for seven years, where he also served as the organization’s chief technologist for integrated fundraising, and spent four years with the boutique online political consulting firm Carol | Trevelyan Strategy Group.
Evan is a regular speaker at prominent forums in the area of online and mobile engagement including the Direct Marketing Association, the Association for Fundraising Professionals, The Foundation Center, and the Nonprofit Technology Community (NTEN).
Evan teaches the popular Activating Audiences for Causes course to students in Georgetown University’s Integrated Marketing Communications and Public Relations & Corporate Communications Master’s Degree Programs.
