We visited the World Food Programme (WFP), the world’s largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide, for our first social impact field trip of 2017. In emergencies, WFP gets food to where it is needed, saving the lives of victims of war, civil conflict and natural disasters. After the cause of an emergency has passed, WFP uses food to help communities rebuild their shattered lives. Learn how WFP and WFP-USA market and communicate their mission and work with both domestic and global audiences.
RSVP required, space is limited. This event is exclusively open to students in Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies students who are pursuing degrees within the Division of Professional Communications.
