Organizations of all sizes and missions understand the importance of storytelling, but few truly excel at it. The Center and The Meyer Foundation identified this need was especially urgent for small social impact organizations. The Center leveraged the more than 180 grantees of The Meyer Foundation to better understand needs and storytelling successes. The result of the engagement was the well-received research report, Stories Worth Telling.

Another key component of the partnership was a series of trainings for The Meyer Foundation grantees on identifying stories, collecting and producing stories, sharing stories, and measuring the success of a story. The Center has since led custom storytelling trainings based on the research for foundations, nonprofits and socially responsible businesses.
